We invite you to familiarize yourself with Calvary Church. In this section, you’ll find information about what we believe and the core people and opportunities that make Calvary Church a unique place where you can become connected!
Every week at Calvary brings tons of opportunities to get involved. But if you're new to Calvary, here are some key meeting times to check out first.
Calvary Church is a Fellowship of the Assemblies of God that welcomes people from all backgrounds. Calvary is associated with the world's largest Pentecostal denomination—the 67 million-member Assemblies of God cooperative fellowship. Within the U.S., there are 13,023 churches with over 3 million members and adherents.
Calvary Church believes that truth is found in Jesus Christ as communicated in the Bible. People can discover their true identity when Jesus Christ is their Savior and Lord.
For more information, you can read about the Assemblies of God's 16 fundamental truths.
At Calvary Church, we believe that the following four core values are deeply important in our spiritual lives.
Worship: Actively involved in a personal and corporate encounter with God
Grow: Committed to ongoing spiritual and relational health
Connect: Building a relationship with others and God
Serve: Living a life of service
We strive to center our activities and events around these values because we believe that these are important steps as we grow in our relationship with God.
Calvary Church is one church with three locations. Our main campus meets in Naperville. In an effort to reach even further into the Chicagoland area, two additional campuses offer weekend services and ministry opportunities throughout the week.
Calvary West is a thriving extension of our Naperville campus, located 15 miles northwest in the village of Sugar Grove. Since its inception in 2006, this fellowship has grown to serve over 500 people weekly. You'll find the same wonderful Naperville benefits every Sunday at Calvary West: Live preaching and worship, ministries for children and youth and community groups.
Site Pastor: Rich Wooten
Service Times: Sundays, 9 & 11 a.m.
Calvary en Español reaches and equips our local spanish-speaking community. Since its inception in 2005, this congregation has grown to include over 800 people (from over 17 different countries). Each week, they share God's message of love, hope and salvation by faith and grace. Calvary en Español enjoys the same opportunities found in our English-speaking campuses: live worship and preaching, community groups, adult education classes and many family-focused activities. This ministry meets at the Naperville campus in the Seminar Room.
