The Church and Culture: A Study of 1 Corinthians

In I Corinthians, Paul has a conversation with the Church in Corinth. He addresses the worldly and sinful nature that they have allowed into their hearts. When the church allows itself to look like culture, it is no longer the church. In this series, we will learn how to operate as the church—set apart for God—among a secular culture.

Come learn how we can surround families in crisis with a caring and compassionate community. Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. We open our hearts, arms and homes. Through Host Families, Family Friends and Family Coaches, we temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet.

To grieve is human. To grieve in a Christ-like manner is supernatural. It requires us to invite the Holy Spirit to guide us through the process. This group offers comfort and biblical coping methods for those who are facing or dealing with the effects of loss. It also guides members through other types of loss including the loss of a job or divorce.
