Your information, handled with care

This site is a front door, not a database. Here is exactly what it does and does not collect. Last updated October 29, 2026.

What this site collects

Almost nothing

This website has no accounts and no comment sections. It never asks for your name or payment details. The only cookies it sets come from the analytics and advertising tools described below, and they do not tell us who you are. Browsing here is anonymous to us.

Email and text sign-up

The one form on this site is the "Stay in the know" sign-up on the home page. An email address you enter there goes to Mailchimp, the church's email service, which sends the Friday email; you can unsubscribe from any email. A phone number you enter for text updates goes to Clearstream, the church's texting service, which texts you to confirm before adding you; reply STOP to any text to opt out. Nothing you type in the sign-up is stored on this website.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Netlify, which like every web host records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the service running and secure. We do not use these logs to identify visitors. See the Netlify privacy policy.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, the site loads its analytics and advertising tools through Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics 4 counts visits so we can see which pages are helpful and where the site is hard to use. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through a page (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) as session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity masks anything typed into a field, so recordings never show what you entered. Clarity data is handled under the Microsoft privacy statement.

Advertising

Calvary runs Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads to invite people to church. Google Ads and the Meta pixel tell us when someone who saw or clicked one of our ads visits this site, so we can see which ads help people find Calvary. ClickCease watches ad clicks for fraud, such as repeated clicks from one device, so the church's ad budget is not wasted. These tools set their own cookies to recognize a returning browser, under the Google privacy policy and the Meta privacy policy. You can turn off ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings, or block these tools and analytics with any standard content blocker or your browser's privacy settings, and the site works exactly the same.

Church Center and other services

Every registration, giving transaction, group signup, and other form links out to Church Center, which is operated by Planning Center. Information you submit there is governed by the Planning Center privacy policy. The Watch page embeds media players from Subsplash and YouTube, the Give page embeds a Subsplash video, and the I'm New page embeds a Google map; those services may set their own cookies when you interact with them, under their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, children included. Kids ministry registration and check-in happen inside Church Center with its own safeguards.
