Seeking Candidates for Principal of Christian High School

This ministry-minded, visionary, and entrepreneurial leader will plan, develop, implement, and oversee the addition of 9th through 12th grades for Calvary Christian School consistent with the Calvary mission, vision, and values and the requirements for an accredited Christian high school in Illinois. The ultimate goal is to lead a unique and high-quality high school extending the excellence in academic education of Calvary Christian School built on and advancing a Christian biblical worldview.
Initial tasks include developing the vision, systems, structure, procedures, policies, academic plan, staffing, budget, and programs for the new high school which meet or exceed Illinois requirements including academic recognition, rigor, records, and credit transfer requirements.

Key Competencies
- A fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 3:3, 1 Peter 1:23)
- Whole-hearted support of the Calvary Statement of Faith, mission, vision and values
- A Christian role model exhibiting spiritual, personal, and relational health and maturity on and off campus
- Academic leadership ability, and the ability to envision, create, inspire, and attract families and support
- Passion for Christian education and seeing students develop a biblical worldview as discipleship formation
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in educational leadership or related field
- Five or more years of education administration experience
- ACSI certification in leadership or the ability to obtain ACSI certification
- Experience with high school curriculum and credit transfer requirements (in Illinois is a plus)
- Experience with school program creation and development is preferred
