The Missio Dei (mission of God) is our mission too.

Missions is one way that we as a church can make a difference. Jesus told us to “go and make disciples ... to the ends of the earth.”We can all do something to help spread the message of God’s love around the world, whether by going on short-term missions trips or giving generously to help those who are already working in key areas. If Calvary is your home church, we ask you to prayerfully consider giving to missions. This money will go directly to the more than 100 ministries that we support and will help them to continue making an impact.

Upcoming Missions Trips:

We are so excited about the impact we get to make in 2023 through missions trips. If you’ve never been on a missions trip, it’s never too late!
Yogyakarta, Indonesia | Oct. 22-31
This is Calvary's first team trip to Indonesia to work our missionaries Pastor Jamie and Tasha Kemp! We will join them in their ministry to students at the International English Center where English is used as an evangelism tool while speaking with students in discussion groups. Prayer walks, relationship building and church ministry will be the focus of this trip.

Stories of Hope

You can help Ukrainian refugees today!

This is a video from our friend, Pastor Miro Toth, at Apoštolská Cirkev in Košice, Slovakia. They are sending humanitarian aid by the truckloads directly into Ukraine.  We have recently sent them $2500 and are currently collecting funds to send additional help.  If you would like to donate, click the link below or text a dollar amount with the keyword "Ukraine" to 84321 (ex. $100 Ukraine).

Helping Ukrainian Refugees

We strongly believe that together we can have a greater impact for God’s glory than we would have alone.
We now have 30 refugees that we have been accommodating since the war in Ukraine started. We are trying to meet all their material needs, but also their spiritual and emotional needs. Please pray that our Lord will comfort them with His peace that is beyond all understanding.

On top of the 30 refugees that are staying with us until they can go home, we have another project where we accommodate the refugees that are in transit towards Western Europe. So far, more than 140 people have spent two or three nights with us. Thank you for your help and your desire to partner with us.

Harvest in Rwanda

There’s a reason why Calvary Church Mission of Butare has “Calvary” in its name.  That’s because the growing church (based in Butare, Rwanda) has been partnering with Calvary Church of Naperville since 2016.

Our support has helped them to develop a portion of their property into land for farming. An area of land once known for drug dealing and crime has been transformed into a place of harvest and sustenance. Crops of sorghum, beans, corn and sweet potatoes have been both a source of income for the congregation and food for the community.

New Territory in New Zealand

Meet Nathan and Lisa Turney—the first Assemblies of God missionaries to ever be assigned to New Zealand.  Nathan and Lisa have a vision to establish a new community of vibrant followers of Christ that impacts New Zealand and the surrounding nations.

New Zealand is one of the most secularized nations in Asia Pacific with 50% of its five million residents rejecting any religious affiliations and the other 50% contributing to a rise in Islam and Hinduism. The country also has one of the highest teen suicide rates of any developed nation. Nathan and Lisa believe that God is leading them to plant an international church in Auckland, which is the largest city in Polynesia with over 1.5 million ethnically diverse residents.

Impacting Education in Romania

Investing in schools is one of the many ways we’ve partnered with communities throughout Romania. We have sent missions teams to build and renovate churches and ministered to gypsy communities. Over the past 20 years, we have supported churches and schools, helped dig water wells for the residents of poverty-stricken Plopi, and just last year, we came together to support the creation of a water well house and delivery systems to reach even more in that community.
