Imago Dei

Imago Dei

We are made in the image of God to fulfill the mission of God.

Each one of us was created in the image of God (Imago Dei). Our unique qualities and experiences are what help point people toward God.
Below are stories—victory stories—of God overcoming our challenges and using our lives for his mission (Missio Dei).

February is Black History Month!

It is a time to honor the contributions of so many African Americans to the U.S. (and international) culture, art, music, literature, education and to spreading the Gospel.

This month reminds us how, like a diamond, the Imago Dei refracts multiple truths about humanity. The test of our commitment to it is not what we
believe about the image of God but how we view, treat and relate to our fellow image bearers as they fulfill their purpose within God's mission.
