Living Hope: Hope in Christ (Week 4)

In Week 4 of Living Hope, Pastor Marty Sloan looks at Colossians 1:24–29 and the mystery Paul says is now revealed: "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Using passages from 2 Timothy, Romans, Ephesians and Galatians, he shows that our hope doesn't come from our own goodness or effort. It comes from God's grace, given freely in Christ, who made us alive when we were dead in our sins. Through the Beatitudes, Isaiah's vision and the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, he calls us to stop trying to be our own savior. Instead, we can humbly let Christ live in us and take the lead.
