Video Production Technician

The purpose of the Video Production Technician is to create videos from concept to completion.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Video technician for Calvary Church videos (shooting, ingesting, editing, mastering)
  • Shoot and gather footage at Calvary Church services and events
  • Create variations of videos for different mediums and campuses
  • Find video elements needed: graphic elements, animation, music, etc.
  • Maintain all video production equipment (including maintenance or repairs) as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Experience running an HD camera, including set-up and tear-down
  • Experience running a live audio mixer
  • Experience recording voice overs
  • Experience conducting interviews
  • Familiar with broadcast and video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, Adobe After Effects
  • Basic graphic design knowledge and experience
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable working with and meeting tight deadlines
  • Comfortable with an on-call, part-time schedule in order to capture live events needed

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, especially in area of broadcast or communications
  • Apple computers
  • Programs: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, Logic, Protools, Audition
