Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Cooperate with the Preschool Director and Summer Camp Coordinator to implement all
policies and procedures governing the operation of summer camp. - Establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate environment that supports the
growth and development of summer camp participants. - Create and turn in written lessons plans according to the schedule established.
- Observe, record, and report significant individual and group behavior.
- Communicate with parents; notes, emails, in person.
- Integrate biblical principles in childcare and activities.
- Establish safe and healthy nurturing environments for children.
- Supervise children at all times.
- Follow a daily schedule.
- Maintain a clean, presentable, well-ordered classroom.
- Maintain regular and accurate attendance records.
- Maintain parents and administration adequately informed of progress or deficiencies.
- Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with students, parents, and administration.
- Implement safety procedures established by Calvary when dealing with an emergency.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Early Childhood Education knowledge is preferred
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- First Aid training preferred
