The purpose of the Junior Graphic Designer is to support the ministries of Calvary Church with graphics and printing needs.
Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Fulfills communication requests for ministries
- Receives, schedules, and either personally designs or delegates to a team member
- Communicates with ministries about status of requests and sends proofs when applicable
- Oversees large-format printing
- Prints and cuts all requested posters and banners (both from ministries and all-church needs)
- Monitors and orders banner supplies
- Oversees maintenance of banner printer
- Oversees small-format printing
- Prints or assigns printing of all-church items like sermon notes, postcards, etc.
- Helps with training of new staff members on production printer
- Monitors and orders paper
- Oversees maintenance of cutting machine
- Other Design Help
- Relieves graphic design load off lead graphic designer as needed
- Includes some churchwide designs, merchandise, slides, etc.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with print and digital production.

- Remains flexible in fast-paced environments, adapting easily to
changing needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience
