The Kids Coordinator assists the Children's Ministry Pastor and Directors in building and leading a dedicated team to introduce children to the real Jesus. This role ensures the effective execution of the Calvary Kids ministry vision.

Position Summary
The Kids Coordinator assists the Children's Ministry Pastor and Directors in building and leading a dedicated team to introduce children to the real Jesus. This role ensures the effective execution of the Calvary Kids ministry vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help choose or develop engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for different age groups.
- Assist in organizing Children Ministry events, (holiday programs, special events etc.)
- Ensure that all Calvary environments are safe, properly supplied, and meet Calvary ministry standards.
- Participate in providing feedback on the health of volunteers, curriculum effectiveness, policies, procedures, and overall ministry experience.
- Help recruit and onboard new volunteers, assist in training volunteers to ensure they are well-prepared and confident in their roles.
- Ability to lead and manage all age phases and environments at the Children’s Pastor’s discretion.
Requirements:
- Passion for teaching and working with children of all ages.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Calvary discipleship process for kids.
- Provide constructive feedback for Kids Ministry Directors, volunteers, parents, and children when necessary.
- Ability to lead and manage all age phases and environments at the Children’s Pastor’s discretion.
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Office.
- Strong commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the church’s mission and values.
- Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, volunteers, and church staff.
