The coffee shop supervisor oversees and directs the activities of The Atrium Coffee Shop. Responsibilities include: supervising all employees, ensuring the shop meets quality and food service regulatory requirements, and making sure customers are provided with exceptional service.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Coffee Shop.
• Ensure that the Coffee Shop operates within established budgetary guidelines.
• Submit records of supplies and purchases.
• Establish pricing and track food and beverage costs
• Assign, direct and supervise baristas.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the Coffee Shop.
• Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
• Hire, recruit, and train employees.
• Schedule staff for the weekly hours of operation.

Education and Experience

• Prior supervisory experience
• High-School Diploma required
• A combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position's duties may be considered
• Computer skills and Operation of our Point-of-Sale System
• IL Food Handler & Sanitation Permit
