Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
IT / eSpace Support
- Oversee the management and maintenance of computer work stations
- Technical assistance for admins
- Basic installations of Windows and Mac OS whether install from disk or clone from a disk
- Set up new computers with additional software as necessary
- Troubleshoot Mac and Windows OS based computers and devices
- Repair of existing computers
- Installation of network equipment (ex. switches, cabling, etc.)
- Installation of cameras and related equipment (DVR, cameras, cabling)
- Maintenance, management and troubleshooting of security cameras and associated equipment
- Make approved purchases of technology resources
- Provide network accounts and passwords on the Active Directory and Office 365 and act as administrator for all campus computers
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues with computers, cameras, printers, and other technology devices
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
- Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal
- On campus support for IT infrastructure
- Overall management of individual department inventory
Key Technical Competencies

- Knowledge of Mac and Window operating systems
- Some experience with Active Directory
- Ability to terminate cable.
- Basic troubleshooting skills

- High school diploma, or at least one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Programs – knowledge and experience of the Internet and Microsoft Office software and office equipment
- Some college experience desirable
