The role of the Nursery Coordinator is to oversee ministry to kids 3 years of age and under in a way that aligns with the overall vision of Calvary Kids.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Build the leadership pipeline
- Work through a Leadership Pipeline to build teams that will run all aspects of services
- Invest in the Nursery Coaches and teams
- Recruit and train new volunteers
- Oversee the functionality of each room
- Assure room cleanliness before and after each service
- Equip each room with proper safety measures
- Stock room with appropriate supplies
- Work with daycare to manage rooms properly
- Break down nursery curriculum
- Break down the nursery curriculum into manageable segments for service
- Equip the leaders to carry out various elements of service
- Schedule volunteers
- Oversee the scheduling of all volunteers for service
- Maintain proper room ratios and appropriate classroom structures
- Oversee childcare
- Oversee all childcare events for kids 3 and under
- Equip and resource childcare coaches to oversee childcare events without staff
- Process all payment to childcare workers in a timely and professional manner
Education and Experience
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)– highly preferred skill
- Knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Office, Internet
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate various printers and copiers
