Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Update and manage the Care Tracker daily (the Department’s centralized system surrounding life change and occurrences within the community, across campuses)
- Organize and maintain calendar/scheduling for Care Visits at facilities/nursing homes for pastors and community of volunteers
- Participate in the execution of memorials/funeral services
- Handle sensitive, confidential information and assignments with tact, discretion, and diplomacy
- Help as needed with in-coming email/care requests and pivot appropriately to pastors/volunteers
- Participate in weekly status meeting
- Perform other light responsibilities as assigned

- Has great attention to detail with strong organization skills
- Time manages well, meets deadlines, prioritizes, and is self-motivated
- Is spiritually self-aware and exercises mature judgement
- Will need to work often on a Saturday/weekend for this position (a half work day)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in a church setting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of volunteer ministry experience
Physical Considerations
To successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this role, the employee will need to:
- Do computer data entry on a consistent basis (Care Tracker updates and care visit coordinating)
- Do occasionally more walking or standing on memorial/funeral service work day
