What is Operation Christmas Child?

Every year, people pack shoebox gifts to bless children in need around the world. Churches and groups collect them the third week of November every year, and the boxes are then sent to national sites where thousands of volunteers inspect and prepare them for international shipping.

Once at at their final destinations, pastors around the world host events that include outreach to local children. Other churches use the boxes as resources for outreach in orphanages and other at-risk areas. In many places, they also offer The Greatest Gift, a Gospel story booklet developed for shoebox recipients.

Did you know Calvary is a local drop-off location?

ANYONE with packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child can drop them off during weekend services (Sat. 6 p.m., Sun. 9 & 11 a.m.) or at Door 28 or 29 during the week.
