Theme Nights
We've got some summer fun for kids in K–5 grade
We have something fun planned for your kids this Summer! During our Wednesday night services at 7 pm, kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade will participate in a special theme night. Check out the themes below, and come dressed and ready to go all-out! This is a great time to invite a friend to church, so encourage your child to invite someone new. Every Wednesday will include a time of worship, a bible lesson, and connecting with one another. We will also still have our regular services for children from birth through 4 years old.
Here is the schedule for Summer Theme Nights!
June 7: Super Hero
This week's theme: Super Hero. Prepare to take on a super-sized obstacle course as we practice our best superhero moves. Don’t forget to wear your favorite superhero gear!
June 14: Glow in the Dark
This week's theme: Glow In The Dark. Ready… Set… Glow! We’re flipping services upside-down and having a glow-in-the-dark time together.
June 21: Color Wars
This week's theme: Color Wars. We’re taking painting to the next level with an outdoor color war for students in grades 2-5! Those students should dress in all white and wear shoes that can get messy. Students in K– 1 grade should bring a white t-shirt they can use for an art project.
June 28: Candy Land
This week's theme: Candy Land (peanut free). Can you imagine if Candy Land was a real place? This Wednesday, we're making Calvary Kids' services spectacularly sweet. There will be so much candy Willy Wonka will be jealous.
July 5: Family Fun Night
This week's theme: Family Fun Night. Families will have a chance to connect and enjoy the night together.
July 12: Sports Extravaganza
This week's theme: Sports Extravaganza. We’re all on the winning team this Wednesday! Come dressed wearing gear from your favorite sports team as we compete in games with a twist!
July 19: Dress Like Your Parents
This week's theme: Dress Like Your Parents. There is no one in the world more hip, rad, or cool than your parents (and I’m sure they would agree!). Come dressed like the coolest people on the planet and bring your best dad jokes.
July 26: Christmas in July
This week's theme: Christmas in July. Who says we have to wait until December to celebrate Christmas? Jesus is worth celebrating all year. Come ready for a Christmas wonderland!
August 2: Dress for the Red Carpet
This week's theme: Dress For The Red Capet. We believe everyone at Calvary Kids is a superstar! Come dressed to impress as we roll out the red carpet and celebrate who God has called us to be.
August 9: Back to School Celebration
This week's theme: Back to School Celebration. We love school! We will spend our time celebrating what God has done throughout the Summer and praying blessings over the school ahead.
