Who is Jesus? Jesus is many things… the Son of God, our Savior, the Light of the World - but who is He to YOU?

In this sermon series, we’ll explore His characteristics so that we can better know God. By studying passages such as John 8:12, Matthew 9, Isaiah 58, and the parable of the Good Samaritan, we will learn who Jesus is. The most important decision that you make in this life is deciding whom you will follow, and there is no greater life than the one lived following Jesus!

In the first week of this sermon series, Pastor Marty reminds us that even though Jesus is many things to many people, there is no denying that He is our Savior! Sin destroys our relationships with God, ourselves and others, but Jesus is our hero because He conquered sin once and for all.

Next, we'll explore how Jesus is Lord of our lives, but only if we ask Him to be. If we want everything that comes with knowing God, we need to step back and make Jesus Lord over everything.

In week three, we dive deeper into John 8:12, to learn what Jesus means when He said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." And we'll look at how we can reflect His light to the rest of the world.

To wrap up the sermon series, Pastor Marty uses the parable of the Good Samaritan to show that Jesus is Compassion. Together we'll explore how compassion is at the heart of the ministry of Jesus and how the parable of the Good Samaritan is a model for us all. We hope that through this sermon series, you will be able to answer the question “Who is Jesus?” and follow Him with your whole heart!
