Our amazing Calvary Church staff is dedicated to serving our community and sharing the love of God. We do this through teaching, small groups, outreach, youth ministry, and so much more! Lead Pastor

I am passionate about communicating the word of God and helping people know God and His mission for the redemption of mankind.  I believe that His mission (Missio Dei) is inseparable from the local church and that each follower of Christ is divinely designed for a place in the story of redemption!

I joined the Calvary Church family in January of 2020, and together we are creating an earthly picture of heaven. Everything we do is driven by the Word of God to love people and to invite them into authentic community with God and others. We believe that life and ethnicity are divine and that the power of loving people can make an eternal impact.

I have a Doctorate of Ministry in Missiology from Southeastern University and have been an ordained minister since 2000. I've served in ministry for over 25 years, including various staff roles, and as lead pastor since 2009. I love reading, weightlifting, traveling, hunting and football.

My wife, Becky, is a family nurse practitioner with over 30 years in the medical profession. She loves spending time with family, traveling the world and of course spoiling her dogs. Becky and I have been married since 1994 and have two sons: Chandler and Landon.

Calvary Español Lead 

It’s my passion to watch lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s also rewarding to see the congregation grow in their knowledge of God and His Word every week. Since 1995, I’ve had the privilege and joy of sharing my life with my wife, Becky. God brought us together while we were both serving in the military. Caleb and Dannielle are our children. ¡Yo amo a mi iglesia! 

Calvary Indian Lead

I love Jesus because He called me out of darkness into His marvelous light.  My goal is to be everything that He wants me to be for the glory of His name and the extension of His kingdom. I am eternally grateful to God for giving me the privilege to serve Him and the Indian community. I've been married to my wife, Christina, for 17 years, and we have three children: David, Samuel and Shekinah.

Missions & Senior Adults

It has been my joy to be in music and church ministry for over 30 years—almost half of those years at Calvary Church! My love for missions has led me to pursue that ministry.  My wife, Taunya, and I have been married since 1990 and have three incredible children: Jacob, Grace (daughter-in-law), and Rachel …and one incredible grandson, Levi! 

Next Steps & Assimilation

Our family has been a part of Calvary for many years. My husband, Doug, and I have been married since 2004. We have three amazing children (Matthew, Dj and Devin). I am passionate about encouraging and empowering others with the truth of who God is. It is a privilege to serve Calvary Church in this role, and I look forward to partnering with you and serving the Lord together.

Education & Discipleship

Life with Christ is an incredible adventure! My wife, Michelle, and I have served in ministry for nearly three decades. We are passionate about seeing lives and homes transformed by God's Spirit and truth. Education is vital to knowing and following Jesus. Our lives are committed to learning, living, and sharing the beauty, wisdom, and power of his Word.

Communications

Ever since I first joined yearbook staff in 8th grade, I have been passionate about effective communication. There’s a story behind everything, and it’s my privilege to bring those details to light. Through each message and medium, I want to point people toward the God who made them! I grew up at Calvary, graduated from Evangel University, and am now honored to serve beside such a great team at my home church. 

This Generation

One of the greatest callings in my life is to inspire young people to take a tangible next step with Jesus. Our team's vision is to see Calvary's youth activated to be God’s witnesses and to serve him faithfully. Our mission is to help unpack the treasure within each student’s heart and for them to know and understand their unique divine design. With God’s help, WE WILL see a revival within our students that will be felt for generations.

Strategic Planning

I am deeply passionate about encouraging and assisting others in discovering their purpose in Christ. It is an honor to be a part of the Calvary team and to serve my Calvary family. My husband, Arnold, and I have had the privilege of serving at Calvary for ten years. Married since 1980, we are blessed with two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Music

It has been my pleasure to serve Calvary for over 10 years. Building God's Kingdom through musical leadership has been my life’s mission. Born into a Christian home with a pastor father and ordained Evangelist mother, I'm no stranger to serving God’s people. I have been married to my wife, Threesa, since 2005, and together we share four children: DJ, DezTony, Taj & Jae.

Finance

I was born and raised in Denmark. I came to the states in 2002 and joined Calvary in 2004. Since coming to Naperville, I met my wife, Erin, who works in education, and we have two kids: William and Anna. We are passionate about the work of the local church and the crucial impact it can have locally and abroad through missions work.

Worship Pastor

I love worshipping God and have been blessed to lead worship since age 16. My passion is to see lives transformed and hearts cry out to God during worship! My wife, Joi, and I have been married since 2004, and we have two kids: Katelyn and Tj! I look forward to worshipping with you!

My goal within Young Adults ministry is to help young adults lay the right foundation for their lives. I've been involved in next-generation ministry for over 20 years, serving at churches in Michigan, Texas, Arizona and throughout the Chicagoland. Besides enjoying serving the local church, I am a HUGE Marvel fan, and a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur!

Children's Ministry and Champions

Calvary has been my home church ever since my family moved to Illinois in 2020. I loves all things related to sports and being outdoors. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southeastern University, and a master’s degree in mental health and wellness from Grand Canyon University.

My wife and I have called Calvary home for 12 years and I've had the privilege of serving Calvary Kids for the last four. Walking alongside kids as they discover Jesus and seeing families grow together has become my greatest passion. The church's future depends on investing in the next generation, and my wife and I are honored to be part of that mission. Alicia and I have been married for 10 years, and the Lord has blessed us with two beautiful children, Lola and Evan.

I’ve had the blessing of serving in ministry for over 25 years. It’s a sacred privilege to serve God and His people. I especially have a heart to see God’s love poured out through the ministries of Care and Marriage. My husband, Eric, and I joined the Calvary family in 2010. I enjoy taking in a great sports game, movie, or anything Marvel with Eric. We’ve been married since 1996 and have two incredible young adult kids, Jalen and Tya.

I have attended Calvary since 2016. It was here that I met the love of my life, my wife, Nicole, and completely dedicated my life to serving God, loving His people, and teaching His Spirit-breathed word. My passion is to reach the lost, guide them to salvation, and equip them to do the work of the kingdom. I believe that as fully devoted followers of Christ, we can make an immense difference within and outside of the church in our local communities.

I was born and raised in India and came to the States 25 years ago. My husband, Pradeep, and I have two wonderful children. I have always had a heart for building meaningful connections.  My love for exploring new cultures, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, and creating memorable experiences was a natural segue to the Small Groups Ministry. I enjoy every day that I work at Calvary and serve the Lord and his people.

My call to serve women came when nurturing families in the nursery at Calvary 30+ years ago. Ever since, I have discipled and ministered to women throughout their various seasons of life. That same calling led me to Women's Ministry. My husband, Rod, and I have been married for 35 years, and we have 3 amazing children, 2 daughters-in-love, and 4 precious grandchildren.

Spiritual Life

I have 27 years of pastoral leadership, 15 years of Executive Leadership for the Illinois District, and 11 years as a General Council Executive Presbyter. I attended Northwestern University, North Central Bible College and Wheaton Graduate School, and am a member of The President’s Council for Trinity Bible College. My wife, Coleen, and I have two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

This Generation Mental Health 
and Wellness

In 2018, the Lord saved me from sin and healed me from distress and darkness. Since then, he has stirred up a passion in my heart to help others in a holistic manner through emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual support and encouragement. I want to walk with families and individuals in need and provide the tools and resources necessary to heal.

Facilities Director

My journey with Calvary started over 30 years ago. I love encouraging people to take steps toward making dreams into reality while also addressing spiritual, mental and physical needs. I want to inspire people to reach beyond their limits. My wife, Cynthia, and I have a big blended family of 6 daughters and 3 grandsons. My life verse is John 3:30: “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

I am a husband, a father, a worshiper and a fervent  follower of Jesus. I love to help others find purpose, hope and healing. At age 11, I knew  God had a plan and a purpose for my life. I’ve learned that ministry is never about what I want or what I can do; it is simply walking in obedience to Jesus. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Olga, since 2007, and we have two amazing children: Alan and Santi.

I have known the love, grace and transformation of God in my life and in my family. I’ve been a minister since 2019 and seeing lives transformed by Christ is the greatest satisfaction. I love to travel, study, and enjoy different cultures and their food. My family is my inspiration. I’ve been married to my wife and my partner in faith, Luz, since 1998, and we have two beautiful children Luis Rey and David.

Calvary Español Associate

I have been in ministry for 27 years and have served as a minister for the last seven. It is a pleasure to be a part of the Calvary Church family and to serve at the growing Calvary Español. My wife and I have been married for 36 years, and we have two daughters, a son and eight grandchildren.

Our current Calvary Church staff joins a legacy of godly leadership and service. We have a strong history of leaders who have shaped us throughout the years.
